She married Lyall Byers in 1973, and moved to Camas, WA. Ruby enjoyed yard work, knitting, crocheting, camping and hunting. Survivors include sons: Chester Pulliam of Eugene, OR, and George Pulliam of Corbett, OR; stepdaughter, Sandra Andrews of Vancouver, WA; adopted sister, Maxine Ransdell of Jeffersonville, IN; adopted brother, John Hart of Point, TX; along with 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Brown, 1971; and brother, Wilbur E. Hart, 1974. Also, daughters: Marlene Pulliam in 1993 and Betty Taylor in 2005, along with stepdaughter, Joann St. John in 1991. At the request of Mrs. Byers, no services will be held.
