Description	:	Rudolph Adolph Janitscheck was born on October 25, 1877 at Adeldorf, Austria and passed away Saturday, January 1, 1944 at the age of 66 years, 2 month, and 7 days at his home southwest of Pleasanton at 2:45 p.m. He was released December 26, 1943 from a Kearney hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. Read More	Rudolph Adolph Janitscheck was born on October 25, 1877 at Adeldorf, Austria and passed away Saturday, January 1, 1944 at the age of 66 years, 2 month, and 7 days at his home southwest of Pleasanton at 2:45 p.m. He was released December 26, 1943 from a Kearney hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He came to America with his parents in 1884 and they located at the place where he was still living. He was the youngest of the family of eight children and the last to survive all with the parents having passed to the great beyond. He was baptized in the Catholic church in Austria but for a number of years attended the Pleasant Valley community church. He was married April 3, 1907 to Miss Mabel Whistler. To this union six children were born, one daughter and five sons. About 11 years ago he suffered a stroke from which he never recovered causing his right side to become useless. He was a most patient sufferer all these years. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife, Mabel; daughter, Mrs. Louise Lewis of Kearney, Nebr.; Harvey R., Private 1st Class with the Infantry in the Aleutian Islands; Elmer L., of Taylor, Nebr.; Bennie of Litchfield, Nebr.; Glen E. at home, and Cecil C., Staff Sergeant with the Coast Guard in Hawaii. Rudolph was a kind husband and father and a good citizen and neighbor. The community joins in expressing sympathy to the bereaved family. Interment will be made in Pleasanton Cemetery following a service at the Pleasanton United Brethren Church, Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. R. S. Kauffroath officiating.
