Description	:	Rudolph was born to Frederick and Marie Sophie Henriette Cords/Kruger in Yutan, Nebraska. He married Ida Susanna Bordner November 23, 1917 in Fremont, Nebraska, where they resided the rest of their lives. In April through May of 1909, Rudolph sent his sister, Martha, several postcards from Happy, Texas. (She was 6 years old.) He was working there, but it's not known in what capacity. In June of 1912, Rudolph tells Martha he is in Omaha and working in a livery barn again. He was living at the Dodge Hotel. (The stamp was .01 cents) On July... He married Ida Susanna Bordner November 23, 1917 in Fremont, Nebraska, where they resided the rest of their lives. (The stamp was .01 cents) On July 17, 1912 Rudolph's postcard gives his address as 1338 Park Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska. He tells her he is well and to tell mama he is working nights. Also to let him know when she is coming and he will show her around. In his post card dated January 24, 1913 Rudolph writes he is "working in Valley (NE) and when you or Papa come to town Bring my overalls and Jacket cap, and my mail." April 21, 1913 Rudolph writes: "Dear Martha Received your letter and glad to hear you are all well. I didn't Burn the husk or bush(?unsure what the word is) as it was too green yet. I am painting here in Omaha now and working in the pool hall at night. I will probably be home some time next week. If I get any mail send it to the Dodge Hotel and when I get my watch send it . Your Brother" ("The Omaha Easter Sunday Tornado" destroyed much of North Omaha on March 23, 1913, but Rudolph does not mention it. It also destroyed homes and killed people in Yutan, NE the same year.) The August 3, 1916 post card says: "Dear Martha-I am working at North Bend-Nebr Painting and have lots of work. Will be home Saturday. Rudolph North Bend-Nebr %J J Gallagher. Send my mail." By 1918, Martha is now Mrs. Martha Hutchinson (she was married at 15 years of age) and his post card is from New York, so he has joined the service. He asks her to tell Jim (her husband) and Ida (Rudolph's wife)hello for him. He states he is close to the Aquarium and New York Harbor, (pictured). He also sent one with the "New Public Library" on the front, (pictured). Rudolph joined the US Army August 25, 1919, I believe, but the record erroneously says 1891 which is the year he was born. Other children are: Earl Kruger (deceased) Gloria Kruger Wilber (George)(1932-2015)(deceased) Surviving children as of 2017 are: Molly Kruger Rightmyer of Gretna, NE (Gerald) Gerald "Butch" Kruger of Lincoln, NE.
