Description	:	Georgetown Times Feb. 22, 1968 Rufus Lewis Bazen of 2716 Rion Street ded suddenly Wednesday night at his home. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating were the Rev. Ben D. Harmon, and the Rev. Lacy Drew. Bazen and the late Mrs. Rosa Gaskins Bazen was born near Bazen Crossroads near Florence County on March 12, 1921. He had lived in Georgetown for a number of years, and had worked at International Paper Company for 25 years and was a digester cook. During World WarII he served wit the US Army in the European Theater Mr. Bazen was a member of the Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Nina Milligan Bazen of Georgetown; two sons Ronald Bazen, and Dan Bazen and a daughter Miss Faye Bazen, all of Georgetown; his stepmother Mrs. Addie Bazen of Andrews; three sisters Mrs. Mary Warr of Andrews, Mrs. Jessie Elliott of Charleston, and Mrs. Ruby Tisdale of Kingstree; three half brothers Leo Bazen and John Bazen both of Andrews and Fred Bazen of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews
