Donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or Garden of Rest Cemetery. Born in Blockhouse, he was the eldest son of the late Edwin and Rebecca (Oickle) Joudrey. He is survived by his wife, the former Jennie Ernst, Blockhouse; three daughters, Marjorie Barry, Blockhouse; Florence (Mrs. Charles Slauenwhite), Bridgewater; Rosemary (Mrs.Rayburn Tanner), Schnare's Crossing; one brother, Robert, Blockhouse; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Elvin and Norman, both of Blockhouse; two sisters, Mary Ernst, Blockhouse, and Margaret (Mrs. Harold Woods), Simms Settlement. The body rested at Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, where service was held on July 31, 1991, at St.John's Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay. Rev. Rock officiated with Rev. George Wawin assisting. Burial was in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased, Douglas Barry, Lee Barry, Edward Demone, Howard Demone, Wayne Tanner, and great-grandson, Darren Veinot.
