Description	:	Obituary Ruth A. Hamilton, 78, of Allen, formerly of Homer, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was born September 8, 1927, in Eckford, to Henry J. and Bernice (Pierce) Hoffman. She married Gale Hamilton in April 1953, and he preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Hamilton was a seamstress for Harvard Industries in Litchfield for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, baking bread, cooking, reading and taking care of her family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Hoffman; and two sisters, Elsie and Jane Dye. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Homer. Visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 5-8 p.m. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion.
