Description	:	Death of Mrs. Clemens. The death of Mrs. A. R. Clemens occurred this morning at 10:30 o’clock. She had been ill for about six weeks and until a short time previous to her death hopes were entertained that she would recover. Her brother S. A. Corson of Newberry, Pa. arrived Friday and was present when the end came. Mrs. Clemens was 30 years old at the time of her death. She was born at Newberry, Pa. where her father resides at the present time. Her husband and five children, the youngest six weeks old, are left to mourn her loss.... Read More	Death of Mrs. Clemens. The death of Mrs. A. R. Clemens occurred this morning at 10:30 o’clock. Corson of Newberry, Pa. arrived Friday and was present when the end came. Mrs. Clemens was 30 years old at the time of her death. She was born at Newberry, Pa. where her father resides at the present time. Her husband and five children, the youngest six weeks old, are left to mourn her loss. Her father, two sisters and three brothers are also living. Mrs. Clemens was a devoted wife and mother, and by her Christian life had endeared herself to many. Her loss is regretted by a wide circle of friends who extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives. The funeral took place Monday from the M. E. church. Many friends were present to pay their last respects. The services were conducted by Rev. M. C. Miller, assisted by Revs. Gunn and Hardy. Mr. Miller paid a tribute to the many good qualities of Mrs. Clemens. The burial took place in Highland Home cemetery. **Jamestown Weekly Alert, Thursday, March 22, 1900, Page 7.
