She was the wife of Nash Edwin McMurdy, her husband of 64 years. They established their home on a farm near Holyoke until moving to Delta in 1969. Nash and Ruth returned to Holyoke in 1989. She was the wife of Nash Edwin McMurdy, her husband of 64 years. They established their home on a farm near Holyoke until moving to Delta in 1969. Nash and Ruth returned to Holyoke in 1989. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, to live with Ronald and Patricia McMurdy. In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Marianne Wible; her granddaughter, Denys (Wible) Casagrande; and her brother, Willard Clayton. She is survived by two sons, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Holyoke, with Pastor Verl Roth officiating, Interment will be at the Holyoke Cemetery. Baucke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
