Survivors include two sons, Joe Huxford and his wife Linda Huxford of Rosedale, Jim Huxford and his wife Teresa Huxford of Rosedale; two daughters, Julia Hickman and her husband Don Hickman of Rosedale, and Sue Ann Weber and her husband Dennis Weber of Clinton; one sister, Virginia Chaney of Rockville; seven grandchildren, J.T. Huxford and his wife Rachel Huxford, Jeff Huxford, Josh Huxford, Hannah Huxford, Justin Huxford, Jacob Weber and Jared Weber. She was a 1935 graduate of Rosedale High School and a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College. She was a member of the Daily Chapel Christian Church and the Liberty Baptist Church, a Charter Member of the Rosedale Home Economics Club, Rosedale Chatter and Stitch Club, and the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. Services are 10:00 AM on Wednesday March 5, 2003 in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home at 221 Main St. in Rosedale, with the Rev. Brad Bumgardner and the Rev. Jack Holycross officiating. Burial is in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 PM on Tuesday in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home and before services on Wednesday. Memorials should friends so desire may be made to the Daily Chapel Christian Church, 6767 W. 600 S., Rosedale, IN 47874 or the Rosedale Elementary School, PO Box 195 Rosedale, IN 47874 in her memory.
