She graduated from Mason City High Scholl in 1942. On June 13, 1944, Ruth married Francis Morris in Mason City and to this union 3 children were born: David, Dennis and Diane. She later married Frank A. Conway on June 10, 1989, in Mason City. Ruth worked as an Operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 29 years before her retirement in 1981. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards with past members of the telephone company and antiquing. She was a past member of the First United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed. Ruth is survived by 2 children: Dennis Morris and wife Deborah of Meridian, ID and Diane Butler and husband James of Nora Springs, IA; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 6 step-children and many step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Francis Morris; 2nd husband, Frank Conway; 1 son: David Morris; 2 brothers: Donald and Leslie Davis; and 3 sisters: Thelma EauClaire, Maxine Isaacson and Bernice Barron.
