Dan Johnson officiated. Mrs. Grimm died Friday, May 17, 1991. at Mercy Medical Center. Barb Lautnen was the organist. Nancy Johnson was the soloist. She sang How Great Thou Art. Pallbearers were Oscar Niebes, Tom Nicbes, Emlyn Niebes, LeRoy Fmtel, Lanny Fintel, and Glen Merritt. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Ruth Grimm was born May 21,1915, at rural Luzerne. She was the daughter of Edward and Minnie Peterman Niebes. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1933. She married Marvin Grimm on March 3, 1938, at Kahoka, Mo. He died Aug. 10,1985. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Belle Plaine. She is survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elmer and Paul, and one sister, Edna Schroeder; and one nephew. A memorial has been established. Russell Funeral Home, Belle Plaine, was in charge of arrangements.
