Ruth was Baptized 26 June 1916 at the German Evangelical Lutheran Orphan's Home in Fremont, Nebraska. Ruth was adopted on 18 July 1916 by Charles H. and Caroline M. (Schlechte) Staehr of Waco, Nebraska. Ruth attended St. John's Parochial School and Waco Public School at Waco Nebraska. On 29 September 1935, Ruth was united in Marriage to Raymond W. Junge at St. John's Lutheran Church At Waco, Nebraska. They Celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in 2001. They farmed in the Waco area until their retirement to York, Nebraska in 1976. Ruth was very creative at her sewing machine,at her Loom and with her hands in the kitchen. Ruth created over 1000 clowns and gave many away as gifts to cheer the one receiving it. Ruth loved creating and Looming rugs from fabrics that were given to her. Ruth was known for her freshly baked cinnamon rolls, pies, cakes and cookies which were the delight of the many guests that would stop by their home for a cup of coffee. Ruth's love for her family and her gift of hospitality was in full operation. Ruth was a member of Emmamuel Lutheran Church and the Vision Impaired Persons Organization in York, Nebraska. Suvivors include her Husband, Raymond of York, three Daughters, Marilyn (M. Douglas) Dey of Gresham, Nebr., Rosalie (Roger) Hillmer of York, Janet (William) Sabin of Lincoln, Nebr., one Son, John (Carolleen) Junge of York, 10 Grandchildren, Kim (Allen) Richters of Beaver Crossing, Mark (Tera) Dey of Gresham, Nebr., Nathan (Laurie) Hillmer of York, Jason (Rebecca) Hillmer of Bellvue, Nebr., Quinten (Denise) Dallas of Lincon, Nebr., Corinne (Mike) Martin of Lincoln, Nebr., Brian and Timothy Junge Of Lincoln, Nebr., Angela Junge of Fremont, Nebr., and Matthew Junge of York, Nebraska. Seven Great-Grand Children, Bailey and Garret Richters, Lindsey And Austin Hillmer, Hunter Hillmer and Max & Michelle Martin. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, son Mark Junge, Grandson Philip Dallas, son-in-law, Gail Rystrom and brother Alvin E. Staehr.
