Pleasant, she was a 1953 graduate. On June 27, 1953, she married Byron Keith Housh. Working in production, she was employed by Universal of Fairfield, Ceco, Metromail, Walmart, Alaniz & Sons and most recently Motorola. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed local travel, needlepoint, and flower and vegetable gardening. She is survived by her husband; four children, John (Kim) Housh, Paul (Kelly) Housh, Linda (Harold) McShane and Cindy (Dan Ross) Carter, all of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Kenny (Karen) Hummell, and a sister, Velma Billingsley, both of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
