Description	:	Ruth was born in Raymond, MT, on Jan 16, 1917, the third daughter of Harry and Augusta (Schaunaman) Holland. She attended the Raymond, Gibson, and Wankel schools. In her teens, she worked for many neighboring families housekeeping and cooking. Ruth married Joe Wilson Nov 24, 1936 at the Plentywood Lutheran Church. They rented and later bought a farm from Carl Hovedy, the Hank Hill Homestead, located seven miles north of Raymond, where their son now resides. In her teens, she worked for many neighboring families housekeeping and cooking. Ruth married Joe Wilson Nov 24, 1936 at the Plentywood Lutheran Church. They rented and later bought a farm from Carl Hovedy, the Hank Hill Homestead, located seven miles north of Raymond, where their son now resides. They had two children, Duane (9/5/1937) of Raymond and Valerie (5/29/1939) of Plentywood. Joe and Ruth loved to get together with friends and neighbors whether it was card nights, "birthday clubs", attending square dances at the community hall, or taking in games at the Raymond Ball Park. Ruth was active in the Golden Years Club, the Garden Club, the Plentywood Lutheran Church, was a 50 year member of the Raymond Homemakers and volunteered for 35 years at the Glenwood Thrift Shop. In 1977, they moved to Plentywood where they had built their own home. Shortly after celebrating 50 years of marriage, Joe suffered a heart attack and later passed (1/5/1987). Ruth, a high-spirited, fun loving person continued to live in and care for their home until moving to the Pioneer Manor in 2009. In August 2012, she became a resident at La Casa Personal Care, where she celebrated her 100th birthday last January. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Augusta Holland; Husband Joe; siblings Josie Fink, Eleanor Wilson Dodge, Leroy Holland, Mildred Brenden, Harold Holland, Thelma (Tootie) Tlustosch; and son-in-law Don Benson. She is survived by her son Duane (Edie) Wilson and daughter Valerie Benson. Grandchildren; Darcy (Scott Duke), Kevin {Cindy) Wilson, Lynette (Ben Eaton), Debbie (Joel Bloms), Cory (Jann) Benson, Nickie (Blaine Mccutcheon). Great Grandchildren; Justin (Abby) Duke, Ashlea (Trent Semmens), RJ Becker, Danette Becker, Keegan Wilson, Brandon {Tahnee) Benson, Brook (Jate Heaps), Tyler Bloms, Kindra Bloms, Kaela (Leon Dyck), Kelcie (Adam Ward), and Kourtney Mccutcheon.
