Read More	Ruth McCabe Boyle (November 6, 1927 - September 26, 2013 Ruth McCabe Boyle, age 85 of Millville, DE formerly of Levittown, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Ruth was born in Millville, DE on November 6, 1927 daughter of the late Amos Frank and Marguerite (West) McCabe. She was a graduate of Lord Baltimore High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics from the University of Delaware. The most important thing to Ruth was her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruth was a member of Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church in Ocean View, DE, the Langhorne United Methodist Church in PA and The American Association of University Women (AAUW). She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed playing tennis and participated in the WOW Bible Study. Ruth was also an avid bridge player and enjoyed the comradery associated with the card game. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Adams. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, C. Lee Boyle, Jr.; 2 sons, Charles Lee (Cheryl) Boyle, III of New Hope, PA and Kenneth M. (Claudia) Boyle of Yardley, PA; a daughter, Donna L. (William) Lord of Millville, DE; 2 sisters, Pauline Higgins and Frances Stroud both of Seaford, DE; 7 grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Lord, Stacey (Dennis) Dixon, Melissa Boyle, Amy (Patrick) Hughes, Charles Lee Boyle, IV, Kenneth M. Boyle, Jr. and Hannah Boyle and a great grandson, William Lord. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, 81 Central Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970, where friends and family may call after 1 p.m. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ruth's name to the Youth Ministries at Mariner's, c/o Mariner's United Methodist Church, 81 Central Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970. ************************************************ From the Melson Funeral Home Site ************************************************
