Ruth Chrille Wright, daughter of G.O. and Ethel Mae (Wolfert) Mills, was born October 21, 1924 at Tilden, NE. She attended school in Tilden and graduated from Tilden High School in 1942. On August 20, 1948, she was married to James Dorian Wright at the United Methodist Church in Tilden. They lived on the farm southeast of Tilden until retiring into town in 1987. Ruth was employed by the Tilden Telephone Co., Nelson-Knievel Implement, and worked as an aide at the Tilden Nursing Home. Ruth was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women where she was past president. She taught Sunday school and was also a member of the Bakers Dozen Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She died Monday, May 19 at the Golden Living Center in Tilden at the age of 83. Survivors include her children, John Wright of Tilden, Kathy Wright of Lincoln, and Joan Fulsaas of Howells; a sister, Maxine Eickhoff of Tilden; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorian Wright; her parents; one brother in infancy; and one great granddaughter.
