Burial will follows in Sunset Lawns Cemetery. She was born April 5, 1929 at Leroy, Kan., the daughter of Russell and Ione Chapman Rodgers. On Oct. 8, 1948, she married Cecil Mitchell at Augusta. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Doug and two daughters, Vicky Swafford and Teresa Griswold, all of El Dorado; two brothers, Wes Rodgers of Emporia and Glenn Rogers of Leroy; two sisters, Mary Bruner of Mulvane, Kan. and Gloria Rogers, also of Mulvane; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
