Terjesen, 92, of the Whiting section of Manchester, died Monday, May 19 at Keswick Pines Life Care, Whiting. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn for most of her life, and was formerly of the Crestwood Village VI section of Whiting. She was a bookkeeper for JP Morgan, New York City, for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Sunset Park Choral Society, a traveling chorus society in Brooklyn and she once sang at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She was a member of the Bethelship Norwegian Methodist Church at 56th Street in Brooklyn, and was more recently a member of the Ocean County Evangelical Free Church in Lakehurst. She enjoyed her family and loved to bake and cook. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Charles Terjesen Sr. in 1991. Surviving are a son, Charles Terjesen Jr. of Forked River; a daughter, Elaine Robertson of Heightstown; three grandsons, Eric, Jeffrey, and Richard Terjesen; three granddaughters, Cheryl Tarditi, and Spencer and Jessica Robertson; and three great-grandchildren, Christian, Gunnar, and Leif Terjesen. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 23, and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, May 24 at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting.
