She is being reunited with her first husband, Richard E. Brown, parents, Sarah & William Melson, 3 sisters, Maudie Stiles, Dorothy Sipes and Geneva Coffey, and 2 brothers, Gordon and Estell Melson. Ruth was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Lake Station for over 54 years where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Ruth loved her family and prayed for them daily. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 4, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God, 4410 Central Avenue, Lake Station, with Rev. Tom Anglin officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart.
