Mrs. McRae was born October 11, 1932, in Georgetown, a daughter of the late Mattie Budd Porter. She was a member of Georgetown First Assembly of God where she was active in various ministries. Robert) of Murrells Inlet, Vicki Cribb (Keith) of Georgetown, and Robin Bratcher (Walter) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, John Hayes (Rachel) of Myrtle Beach, Lauren Shaw (Scott) of Georgetown, Taylor Bratcher of Georgetown, and Brandon Cribb of Georgetown; a great grandchild, Luke Hayes of Myrtle Beach; a three special cousins, Gertrude Chandler of Georgetown, Dorothy Budd of Georgetown, and Eunice Weaver of Andrews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Benjamin Porter and Lester Porter. Funeral services were Monday, November 23, 2015, in Georgetown First Assembly of God. The Rev. Clifford Coursey and the Rev. David Hoskins officiated. Burial, directed by Ridgeway Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Sunday at Georgetown First Assembly of God. Memorials may be made to Georgetown First Assembly of God, 331 St. James St. Georgetown, SC 29440. Ridgeway Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
