Description	:	Mr. Ryland Winn Hite, 74, husband of Marjorie Murray Hite, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in South Boston. Born and reared in Buffalo Springs to the late Overland Grey and Rosa Alice Hite, Ryland attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church. He and Marjorie were married December 24, 1948. He retired from Burlington Industries Menswear Division with 45 years service, spending most of that time supervising the Screening and Burling & Mending departments. In addition to his wife, Ryland is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Anthony Overton; mother, Rosa Griffin Hite; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Carlton Bowen; and grandchildren, Michelle, David, and Thomas Grey Overton, all of Buffalo Junction. The family will receive friends 7-9PM Thursday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
