Born in Baker Settlement, October 2, 1887, she was the daughter of the late William and Druscilla (Baker ) Oickle. She was a retired school teacher and lived her past 71 years in West Clifford. Read More	Sadie Anna Beck 1984 Bridgewater Bulletin The community of West Clifford was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mrs. Sadie Beck at the Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater on Sunday evening, October 28, 1984. Born in Baker Settlement, October 2, 1887, she was the daughter of the late William and Druscilla (Baker ) Oickle. She was a retired school teacher and lived her past 71 years in West Clifford. Since the death of her husband 16 years ago, her daughter, Helen and son-in-law,Ronald Frausell, were living with her. She was saved the Grace of God in 1932 and attended the Gospel Hall, Nineveh. She is survived by six daughters, Evelyn (Mrs. Ernest Hebb), Wileville; Beatrice (Mrs. George Henley), Chelsea; Ruby (Mrs. Marven Crouse), East Clifford; Mary (Mrs. Harold Barkhouse), Nineveh; Marjorie (Mrs. Cecil Kaulback), Baker Settlement; Helen (Mrs. Ronald Frausell), West Clifford; 18 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; an infant son; a sister, Addie; a brother, Arthur; and four grandchildren. The service was held at the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, on Wednesday, October 31, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. The Lord's servants officiating at the service were Mr. Hull and Mr. James McLellan. The hymns sung at the service were "There is a Fountain Filled with Blood" and "At The Cross." The pallbearers were five grandsons, Edward and Robert Kaulback Bruce and George Barkhouse, and Mervin Henley, and great grandson, Danny Dorey. She was laid to rest in the Union Cemetery, Baker Settlement. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
