Description	:	Sadie Jane Crouch McCoy remained a widow until her death. She lived in Neal, Kansas for most of that time. She made her last home there in the old bank building. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her house was basically two rooms... The only wall in the massive main room was the 4 foot wooden wall that ran down the middle, beginning at the point where the foyer. That was original to the bank. On the side closest to the door was the kitchen area. She loved toast with butter cut into thirds lengthwise, poached eggs and coffee with milk, that she dunked her toast in. She would tell her grandchildren "something soft like butter". Blue Willow dishes were a favorite of hers. Along the front, where the flowers were, there were couches and a sitting area. On the far side of the wall there were lines of beds and baby beds for visits from the kids and grandkids. A lone rocking chair with a stool sat in front of a window that had a small gas stove in front of it. There was also a small room off the kitchen that she used as her bedroom. There was a small bathroom as well. It never worked right though! Back to the basics. The grandest thing of all though was just off the back of the bedroom. The large black steel vault with it intricate designs and paintings. There were many tours to the vault for the grandchildren. When asked if she found any money in it her standard answer, in her very soft voice was, "Well, maybe a penny."
