Description	:	Sadie was born in Oklahoma while it was still Indian territory. She and her older sister, Minnie, migrated as babies with their parents, William and Fannie LUSK, to Garfield County, Colorado. Sadie married David C. HEATON at a very young age. From that marriage was born two sons, Orville and Clyde HEATON. Sadie traveled with her sons in more than 30 of the States. She was a roommate of Winnie Ruth JUDD (the infamous Trunk Murderess) at one time. Sadie always maintained that "Ruth" was totally innocent of those crimes. Sadie then came back... From that marriage was born two sons, Orville and Clyde HEATON. Sadie traveled with her sons in more than 30 of the States. She was a roommate of Winnie Ruth JUDD (the infamous Trunk Murderess) at one time. Sadie always maintained that "Ruth" was totally innocent of those crimes. Sadie then came back to Garfield county and homesteaded on upper East Divide Creek. Sadie became something of a hermit and was infamous in the area for her marksmanship and willingness to demonstrate it to those who would try to thwart her or harm her. She was briefly married to Floyd CONNER and was known in Garfield county as the "Widow CONNERS" She was divorced from CONNER. I have no idea why the S was added to her CONNER name. She died on her homestead alone with her animals. She is buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle, Colorado beside her son Orville HEATON. Her younger son, Clyde William HEATON (1907-1950) is buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, San Mateo, California, USA. FAG # is 3585586.
