Albion – (Special) – Word has come to H.J. Reidel of Albion telling of the death Thursday of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. George Reidel of Mundelein, Ill., following an extensive operation performed Sunday at the Lake County General hospital in Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Reidel was born Sadie Miller, the daughter of Albert and Almira Miller, Oct. 1, 1883, at Wyoming, Ill. When a young women she came with her parents to what is now the C.A. Thornblade farm in Liscomb township. Later the family moved to a farm in Taylor township where the daughter was married to George Reidel Jan. 27 1904. The couple bought the Elmer Arney farm northeast of Albion where they lived until 1919 when they moved to Hayfield, Minn. They returned to Albion in 1926 and two years later went to Mundelein where they had since resided. Besides the widower she is survived by seven grandchildren; Henry of Lake Villa, Ill; Wallace, Neil and Ralph of Mundelein, Ill; Alice, who teaches at Charles City; Mrs. Jessie Mae Little of Detroit, Mich., and Lowell, at home. Also surviving are a brother, Herbert Miller of Fremont, Neb.; and six grandchildren. The body will reach Marshalltown Saturday afternoon and will be at the Estel funeral home until the funeral service which will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Albion in charge of Rev. C.E. Luce of Center Point. Burial will be in the Albion cemetery.
