She was 90 years of age. Born at New Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Amanda (Joudrey) Joudrey. She was 90 years of age. Born at New Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Amanda (Joudrey) Joudrey. She was a member of the United Church; life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch 102, New Germany; charter member of Simpson's Corner Community Club; past member of Willow Rebekah Lodge 107, Hemford; and organist for the Union Church, Simpson's Corner for 45 years. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline (Mrs. Buster Woodworth) ,Wolfville; Dorothy (Mrs. Fred DeLong), Barss Corner; son, Hallet, Simpson's Corner; sisters, Annie Mader, New Germany; Glennis Simpson, Hebbville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Henry; son, Aubrey; foster son, Charles Sapp; sisters, Leavie, Alemeth, Elsie, Jean, and Myrtle; half-sisters, Maggie and Gladys; brothers, Joseph, Charles, and Robert; two grandchildren, Allan and Charlotte. A memorial service was held by the members of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 102, at the New Germany Funeral Home, February 29. Funeral service was held at the Simpson's Corner Union Church, Thursday, March 1, 1995, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating, assisted by Rev. Grant Walls, of the United Church and Rev. Peter Armstrong of the Anglican Church. Organist was Harley Rhoddy. "Amazing Grace" was beautifully sung by her nephew, Joey Mader; and choir members of the United and Anglican Church, New Germany, sang "In The Garden." Burial was at the Hillside Cemetery, Simpson's Corner. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
