Carrie died in 1913, leaving him with 5 young children. Sallie and William married on April 5, 1914. Sallie and Will had 3 of their own children: Grace P. (b ca 1916); Arthur Van Buren (b 8/29/1916 d 7/9/1989); and Gladys "Sunshine" (b 4/9/1918 d 1/16/1999). William died in 1926. She later married John W.Jones, who died in 1964. He is buried with his first wife Lucy in Smyrna Presbyterian Church. |
