She endured a long and painful sickness, with christian patience and reconciliation to the will of God. She viewed the approach of death with increasing joy, and longed for the hour to come when she should depart and be with her Saviour. This consideration will afford comfort and support to her husband, children and connections. While they revere the memory of a most tender wife and mother, and a beloved friend, they will not fail to rejoice, that her last days were attended by the convenience of life and the consolations of religion, and that she has exchanged this mortal for an immortal and glorious constitution."
