She was a retired beauty operator. She was born to George and Bertha Toler Casey in North Carolina on Sept. 30, 1914. She has been a resident of Ottumwa for 25 years and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She married Woodrow Barcus on Aug. 23, 1963, in Missouri. He survives. Arrangements are pending at the Jay Funeral Home. Barcus Funeral Services for Sallie M. Barcus, 58, of 125 S. Davis, who died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Jay Funeral Home. The Rev. George McDaniels of St. Patrick's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Wilkin, Austin Watters, Ora Snow, Herman Miller, Harold Henson and Durwood Kerby.
