Information from the extract: Effie Tyler Yarborough of Whites Bridge Road, Georgetown, died September 20, 1954. She was born in January 17, 1884, in Horry County, a daughter of Mr. T. M. Tyler and Mrs. ? Bryant Tyler. Burial was September 22, 1954, in Piney Forest Cemetery. Survivors were: her husband, Son Morris; two sons, C. J. Yarborough of Georgetown and H. E. Yarborough of Lancaster; two daughters, Mrs. Loren Player of Georgetown and Mrs. Maybelle Geddings of Florida. --- Three Rivers and Effie's obituary agree that she was survived by two sons and two daughters, but the obituary does not mention a surviving husband. Also, Three Rivers lists her as Effie Tyler Yarborough, not Effie Tyler Morris. Yet her death certificate says "Sallie Effie Tyler Yarborough Morris." "Son" Morris is unknown to the contributor. Might that marriage have been late and rather short, which might explain why "Morris" is not included on the grave marker? ------------- DOES ANYONE KNOW THE GIVEN NAME OF "SON" MORRIS?
