She was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Pauline Turner. She was married on September 3, 1955, to Delbert Carl Pebley. They had four daughters and one son. She began working at LaFollette Shirt Factory when she was 16 years old and continued her career as a sewing machine operator until she retired in 1990 from Imperial Reading Corporation. ... She was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Pauline Turner. She was married on September 3, 1955, to Delbert Carl Pebley. They had four daughters and one son. She began working at LaFollette Shirt Factory when she was 16 years old and continued her career as a sewing machine operator until she retired in 1990 from Imperial Reading Corporation. Her greatest joys in life were reading her bible, her children, grandchildren, babies, sewing, watching her birdfeeders in the front window, and her cats. Her strong faith in the Lord brought her through many of life's trials and sustained her until her passing. Her strength and faith were blessings to all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Carl Pebley; infant daughter, Kathy Robin; mother, Pauline Turner; father, Otis Turner; brother, Charlie Turner; sister, Mary Turner; mother-in-law, Florence Tillson Pebley; father-in-law, Walter Pebley; brothers-in-law, William, Frank, Odeva, and John Pebley, Grover Carr, Grover Martin, Jack Willis; sister-in-law, Diane Cree. She is survived by her daughters, Karen L. Pebley, Kimberly A. Pebley, Katrina Young and husband, Michael, all of LaFollette,; son, Kevin M. Pebley and wife, Michelle of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Andrea Noelle Walden and Noah Michael Young of LaFollette and Kinsey Nicole, and Kara Bryanne of Cumming, GA; sisters, Shirley Hensley and husband, Teddy Ray, Judy Parker and husband, Marvin, Audrey Shears and husband, Eugene, Virginia Edwards and husband, L.C., Martha Cox and husband, Oscar all of LaFollette, Willene Dain and husband, Orin of Scio, OR; brother, Jody Turner and wife, Mae of Vest, KY; sisters-in-law, Eula Carr of Niagara Falls, NY, Elizabeth Martin, Nina Pebley, Magdalene Willis, all of LaFollette, Barbara Sample of Kokomo, IN, Maude Pebley of Leatherwood, IN; brothers-in-law, Louie Pebley and wife, Paulette, Ellard Pebl ey and wife, Goldie all of LaFollette, Albert Pebley and wife, Joyce of Monroe, MI; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held April 12 at Walters Chapel with the Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Interment was in the Sunrise Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
