The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Goodfellow who came from Scotland and settled near Bradford, Ontario where the deceased was born on the 12th of February 1839. . He and Jane McAuslan who pre-deceased him a few months ago, were married 64 years on 22nd of December last and took up residence on Lot 13, concession 1, Euphrasia township were they live continuously till time of their demise. There was seven of a family of which six survive. Peter and James in Saskatchewan, Ashley in Winchester Ont., Mrs. TG Allan, Medicine Hat Alberta, Mrs. Norman Hewgil Rogansville Sask. . The late Mr. Goodfellow was a member of the Heathcote Presbyterian congregation up to time of the union when he joined the United body. In the good old days when the Grange flourished he was an enthusiastic promoter of its interests, in politics a Liberal of the old school. The funeral will take place on Tuesday to Union cemetery.
