Urbana Citizen and Gazette Fri Nov 19 1858: NOTICE To Sarah Neer, widow and Jesse Neer, Joseph Neer, Jane Neer, Elizabeth Barger, Madison Barger, Sarah Loretta Hough, William A. Neer, Samuel J Neer, Sarah A Neer, Rachel E Neer, Mary A Neer, Minerva J Neer, Ruth Neer and Martha M Neer, heirs at law of Samuel Neer, late of Champaign County deceased. You will take notice that on the 23rd day of October 1858 the undersigned filed a petition in Court of Common Pleas of Champaign Co OH where the same is now pending, demanding partition of the following premises, situated in said Champaign Co. to wit. The north east quarter of section number fourteen, twp number four and range number twelve. MRS. (except the meeting house and burial lot) containing one hundred and forty-eight acres more or less. Also, of the following lands, to wit. The southeast quarter of section number fourteen of twp number four and range number twelve MRS. except ten acres that were sold to George Gideon on the west side thereof. Also, of the following lands to wit: 200 acres off the south side of section number 16, twp 4 range 12 MRS. of equal width each end, excepting the following parcel conveyed by Samuel Neer in his lifetime to Joseph Neer viz commencing at the SE corner of Daniel Crim's land, running thence east with Joseph Neer's line to the east line of section 16, thence south with said line to the SE corner of section 16, thence west with said line to Abram Bryan's NE corner, thence on a straight line, northerly to the place of beginning, containing one hundred and nine and a half acres, and leaving unsold and for partition ninety and one half acres. It is demanded that partition of said lands be made as follows: To the undersigned Hannah Johnson, 1/7 part. To Jesse Neer, Joseph Neer, Jane Neer, Elizabeth Barger wife of Madison Barger and Sarah Loretta Hough each 1/7 part; and to William A. Neer, Samuel J Neer, Sarah A Neer, Rachel E Neer, Mary A Neer, Minerva J Neer, Ruth H Neer and Martha M Neer each one (fifty?) sixth part thereof; and to Sarah Neer, widow of said Samuel, deceased, dower in the whole.
