Description	:	Son of Daniel and Susanna Suko nee Wutzke Suggested edit: Samuel Suko was born at Dorothuiak, Russia. At the age of 26, he came to the United States. His mother did not want any more of her boys serving in the Russian Army, so she began sending them to America. Samuel arrived in the United States from Bremen, Germany. He came to Kulm, North Dakota where he found a job. Later, he homesteaded 12 miles south of Gackle, North Dakota and farmed. He came to Kulm, North Dakota where he found a job. Later, he homesteaded 12 miles south of Gackle, North Dakota and farmed. He married Karolina Schlecht Findel, a widow with three small children: Clara (aged four), Louis (aged two), and Gotthilf (four months old) on 20 February, 1905. In 1923, He became ill and was taken to Bismarck for surgery and then came home for one night. He was taken back to the hospital where he died. He is buried just few miles from his farm.
