Description	:	Samuel T. Lee, 80 year old resident of Fortuna, died Saturday evening in his Fortuna home. Born in Telemarken, Norway, Lee came to the United States 54 years ago. He lived in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Washington prior to making his home in Fortuna for the past 31 years. Lee is a retired carpenter and member of the Fortuna Lutheran church. Read More	Samuel T. Lee, 80 year old resident of Fortuna, died Saturday evening in his Fortuna home. Born in Telemarken, Norway, Lee came to the United States 54 years ago. He lived in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Washington prior to making his home in Fortuna for the past 31 years. Lee is a retired carpenter and member of the Fortuna Lutheran church. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Jennie Marie, on May 21, 1955. Surviving him are four sons, Toralf W., Orris and Robert E. of Fortuna, and Lief of Hydesville; four daughters, Mrs. Mimi Purdy of Fortuna, Mrs. Gunvor Coffe of Twain Heart, Mrs. Olga Lee of Oakland, Mrs. Ruby Reese of San Francico; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary with the Rev. Ole Winter, pastor of the Fortuna Lutheran church officiating.
