Description	:	Samuel W. Kahler, a well-known citizen of Francesville, died suddenly yesterday evening between five and six o'clock at his home in the northeast part of town from an acute heart attack. He had gone to lie down some time before death came, and when his daughter Clara, who lived with him went to awaken him for supper she found that he had quietly passed away. Kahler, a well-known citizen of Francesville, died suddenly yesterday evening between five and six o'clock at his home in the northeast part of town from an acute heart attack. He had gone to lie down some time before death came, and when his daughter Clara, who lived with him went to awaken him for supper she found that he had quietly passed away. Mr. Kahler was born at Dillon, Illinois, May 13, 1860, and was at the time of his death on October 18, 1933, 73 years, 5 months and 5 days of age. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kahler. He was married at Pekin Illinois, January 29, 1884, to Miss Louise Schmidt, who died here on March 15, 1912. Mr. Kahler came to this community from Lamar, Missouri, in March, 1909, and for a number of years was engaged in farming. Several years ago he moved to town and followed the carpenter trade and other occupations. He is survived by his eleven children, William H. Kahler, Clara Kahler and Mrs. Laura Gudeman of Francesville; Edwin Kahler of Tremont, Illinois; Cleo Kahler of near Buffalo, Indiana; Mrs. Anna Weiland, Ray Kahler, George Kahler and Elmer Kahler, of Pekin, Illinois; Fred Kahler of Anderson, Indiana and Mrs. Pearl Rhinehart of Remington, Indiana. The funeral will be held at the local Christian Apostolic Church at 10 am Saturday, October 21, 1933, with burial in Francesville cemetery. Francesville Tribune 19 Oct 1933
