Sandra Jean Callison was born on February 4, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Carrie Bena (Mehmen) Wedeking in Waverly, Iowa. She was baptized at the Charles City Baptist Church. Sandra Jean Callison was born on February 4, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Carrie Bena (Mehmen) Wedeking in Waverly, Iowa. She was baptized at the Charles City Baptist Church. Sandy graduated from Plainfield High School in 1966, and then attended Hamilton Business College in Mason City for two years. Following her education, she worked at Ski Tec in Waverly for 22 years. On December 27, 1981, she was united in marriage to Terry Callison at the First Baptist Church in Plainfield. In 1990, the couple moved to Fridley, Minnesota. Sandy worked at Sun Rise Packaging in Blaine, Minnesota until retiring in 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Plainfield. Sandy enjoyed cooking, however her great passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors are her daughter, Serene Callison of Plainfield, Iowa; two grandchildren, Charli and Talan Callison; sister, Janice K. (Bill) Hyde of Plainfield, Iowa and brother, Dale E. (Mary) Wedeking of Plainfield, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry and three sons, Chad, Kirk and Christian. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Plainfield, Iowa with Pastor Cal Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Clarksville. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until 11:00 at the church. Memorials may be directed to Callison family for a later designation. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home of Waverly, Iowa is assisting the family with funeral arrangements for Sandra Callison
