She was born April 4, 1947, in Waterville, the daughter of Maurice and Virginia (Robinson) Bickford. She was educated in local area schools and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1965. She worked for many years at Dexter Shoe in Skowhegan. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends, singing karaoke and dancing, painting ceramics, doing crossword puzzles and reading. (Bickford) Constable, 67, passed away July 10, 2014, at her home. She was born April 4, 1947, in Waterville, the daughter of Maurice and Virginia (Robinson) Bickford. Sandra is survived by her husband, Roland Constable, of Skowhegan; son Guy Constable, of Minot, N.D.; daughter Sara Palmer, of Skowhegan; stepchildren Tracy Constable, of Oakland, Roland Constable Jr., of Belgrade, and Troy Constable of Waterville; mother Virginia Bickford, of Fairfield; two sisters, Gail Laskey, of Fairfield, and Valarie Caron, of Fairfield; brother Duane Bickford, of Fairfield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Maurice Bickford; son Bradley Constable; brother Gene Bickford; and sister Marsha Hale. A private celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Sandra's memory to the Maine Affiliate, 51 U.S. Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074; of Maine, 122 State St., Augusta, ME 04330-5689; or the , New England Division, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086-1240.
