Description	:	Sandra Lynn Archer, 68, of Ottumwa died at 6:50 p.m. September 6, 2019 at the Jefferson County Health Center. She was born December 21, 1950 in Ottumwa to Glen and Dorothy Mae Murphy Archer. She married Michael Robert Cain in 1968 and they later divorced. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she graduated from Indian Hills Community College. She was born December 21, 1950 in Ottumwa to Glen and Dorothy Mae Murphy Archer. She married Michael Robert Cain in 1968 and they later divorced. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she graduated from Indian Hills Community College. She worked for Hartsog Pneumatic Tools for a short time and for Wapello County Treasurer’s office, retiring as Deputy County Treasurer in 2016. Sandy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #114. She enjoyed dancing, antique jewelry and loved her dog, Minnie. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Jon (Donna) Cain and Wes (Amanda) Cain both of Ottumwa; 8 grandchildren, James Cain, Alex Lobaugh, Sabrina Lobaugh, Calysta Cain, Emerson Cain, Brittaney Cain, Lydia Roling and Kayden Cain; 5 great grandchildren; her father, Glen Archer of Ottumwa; two sisters, Sharon (Greg) Cain of Newton and Tammy (Terry) Archer-Blackburn of Marion; and a brother, Glen Archer Jr. of Ft. Madison. She was preceded in death by her mother. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her cousin, Pastor Dennis Doud officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Inurnment will be in Shaul Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society or Second Chance Dog Rescue of Iowa. Reece Funeral Home September 8, 2019
