Description	:	Mrs. Sara Ann Coddington, a resident of Schaller for many years, and the mother of Mrs. Hattie Sigler of Storm Lake, died at her home in Peterson on January 3rd at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 3 days. Mrs. Coddington was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pullman and was born in New York state January 30th, 1857. When a small child she moved with her parents to Ogle county IL., where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to John Coddington July 10th 1873. To this union were born 12 children. Read More	Mrs. Sara Ann Coddington, a resident of Schaller for many years, and the mother of Mrs. Hattie Sigler of Storm Lake, died at her home in Peterson on January 3rd at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 3 days. Mrs. Coddington was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pullman and was born in New York state January 30th, 1857. When a small child she moved with her parents to Ogle county IL., where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to John Coddington July 10th 1873. To this union were born 12 children. Her husband and six children preceded her in death. Those surviving are: Mrs. Effa Cave of Cherokee; Mrs. Ruth Booth of Webb; Mrs. Hattie Sigler of Storm Lake; Will Coddington of Peterson; John Coddington of Westbrook, MN; George Coddington of Peterson, and a step-son, Don Coddington of Spencer; also 19 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. John Black of Spencer; two brothers Charles Pullman of Brookings, SD, and Henry Pullman of ND. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Coddington was baptized in the Methodist faith when a small child and attended church regularly as long as health permitted. She was a faithful wife, a kind loving mother and sister a a friend to everyone, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. For a number of years, Mrs. Coddington lived at Schaller. Of late years she had lived at Peterson. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Peterson at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Rassmussen. Burial was in the Schaller cemetery. Bearers were six grandsons; Lester and Clarence Anderson of Webb, Gerald and Everett Sigler of Storm Lake and Lloyd and Roy Coddington of Spencer.
