Read More	DEATH SUMMONS MRS N R AMBROSE Died at Local Hospital Wednesday Evening Following Brief Illness Mrs Sarah Ambrose, wife of Nicholas R Ambrose, businessman of this city, died at the local hospital Wednesday evening at 8:20 o'clock, Dec 9. Death came after a brief illness. She had reached the age of 39 years, 2 months and 26 days Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Dec 13, at 1 o'clock at the home and continued at St Peter's Evangelical church, with Rev Theo Thomas in charge of the services. Burial was made in the St Peter's cemetery north of town A quartette consisting of Mrs L H Fink, E A Kleiss, F C Hildebrandt and Stanley Koch, sang "Saved by Grace," "Jesus Savior Pilot Me," and "Sleep Thy Last Sleep." Pallbearers were: E H Kuker, E H Hankner, E H Stehn, W C Fergeman, J J Fink and E J Henning Mrs Nicholas R Ambrose, nee Sarah Biermann, was the daughter of Edward Biermann and his wife Emma, nee Schultz, and was born on Sept 17, 1897, in Douglas township. She was baptized in infancy by the Rev F C Klein in the Evangelical church at Siegel, and was confirmed in the religious faith by the Rev M Kleinau, in Tripoli, as a member of the first class to be confirmed in the new church On July 23, 1919, she was united in marriage to Nicholas R Ambrose of this city. The ceremony was performed in New Hampton. Her death is mourned by her husband and five children, Darleth, Everett, Beverly, Betty, and Lowell, an infant of eight months. Also her father, Edward Biermann, and four brothers: Arthur Biermann, Bisby, N D: Edward Biermann, Jr of Fredericksburg: Herbert Biermann, Tripoli, Raymond Bierman of Mason City. One brother preceded her in death, also her mother, who died when Mrs Ambrose was ten years old Mrs Ambrose was a member of the St Peter's Evangelical church and a member of the Ladies Aid of the church. She was also affiliated with the American Legion Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America. She was very active in these societies. A devoted wife and mother, a kind neighbor and her willingness to be of service to others, she will be greatly missed The large concourse of relatives and friends who attended the services and the many beautiful floral offerings expressed the sympathy extended to the bereaved family
