Sarah Ann Dunahugh, daughter of William F. and Evaline Dunahugh, was born near Staunton, Virginia, on March 7, 1855, and at the time of her death had reached the age of 77 years, 8 months and 2 days. In 1873 she moved to Confidence where she had since made her home. She was united in marriage to Thomas Reed Wright, who preceded her in death on August 20, 1919. To this union six children were born, one of whom, Cora, died at the age of five years in February, 1891. She leaves to mourn their loss five children, namely, Claude Wright, of Mitchell, Nebr., Homer and Oland Wright and Mrs. May Linville, of Russell; Mrs. Oma Gookin, of Wall Lake, Iowa. One brother, John Dunahugh, of Moline, Ill.; and one sister, Nan Dunahugh, of Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
