Word was received here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Sarah A. Peyton, who died Tuesday night at the home of her brother in Clarion. Mrs. Peyton was making her brother a visit at the time of her sudden demise. She was the widow of Mack Peyton, and was the first white child born in Linn county, Mr. and Mrs. Peyton were residents of Eldora for many years, until the time of Mr. Peyton's death four years ago. Word was received here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Sarah A. Peyton, who died Tuesday night at the home of her brother in Clarion. Mrs. Peyton was making her brother a visit at the time of her sudden demise. She was the widow of Mack Peyton, and was the first white child born in Linn county, Mr. and Mrs. Peyton were residents of Eldora for many years, until the time of Mr. Peyton's death four years ago. Since that time Mrs. Peyton has lived in Minneapolis with her two daughters, Mrs. Fred Winchester and Miss Josephine Peyton, all formerly of Eldora. She was a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the Methodist church of this city. Her remains will be brought here this evening and short funeral services will be held at the cemetery, Rev.
