Description	:	Mrs. Sarah Carr Succumbs to Heart Trouble -- Passed Away Tuesday Afternoon Mrs. Sarah Carr, widow of the late Samuel Carr, died at her home one and one-half miles east of Goddard Tuesday afternoon about five o'clock. For some time she had not been very well and had suffered with some heart trouble. Tuesday she had been walking out in the yard and had come in and gone to her bedroom and laid down. Read More	Mrs. Sarah Carr Succumbs to Heart Trouble -- Passed Away Tuesday Afternoon Mrs. Sarah Carr, widow of the late Samuel Carr, died at her home one and one-half miles east of Goddard Tuesday afternoon about five o'clock. For some time she had not been very well and had suffered with some heart trouble. Tuesday she had been walking out in the yard and had come in and gone to her bedroom and laid down. When the daughter went into the room a little later she found that her mother had passed away. Mrs. Carr was a woman 74 years of age. She had lived a long time northwest of Newton. She is survived by four children, two daughters, one who made her home with the mother, and another who resided in Pueblo, Colo. The two sons, Marion and Monroe live on a farm a mile from their mother's home. The funeral was held this afternoon at the Sugar Grove school house in Sherman township and the interment was in the Metz Cemetery. ~ The Newton Daily News, August 15, 1907.
