She came to Iowa in 1858 and settled at Agency City. The following year she moved to Ottumwa where she resided until April 2, 1927, when she left for Indiana to make her home with her relatives. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Episcopal Church and a long time attendant at this church. She was also a member of the Loyal Bible class and of other church organizations. Lottie died at the home of her sister, Mrs. D.M. Kinney, in Rushville, Indiana. She was survived by her two sisters, Mrs. D.M. Kinney of Rushville and Mrs. B.F. Huddleston of Dunrieth, Indiana.
