Description	:	Morris Funeral Rites Tuesday Last rites for Mrs. Sarah E. Morris, 98, of 312 N. Pierce-st, long-time Lima district resident who died Saturday evening in Memorial hospital, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the home. The Rev. Dale Emrick, pastor of the Elida United Brethren church of which the prominent Lima woman was a charter member, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery near Elida. Dale Emrick, pastor of the Elida United Brethren church of which the prominent Lima woman was a charter member, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery near Elida. Six grandchildren of the venerable resident will be pallbearers. They are Stephen and William Morris, Carl Isham, Paul Timmerman, Irvin and Cloyde Stemen. Death came to Mrs. Morris after she contracted a severe cold last Monday. Prior to that she had been in excellent health and was anticipating a fishing trip to the Morris cottage at Orchard Island soon. Mrs. Morris, who for the last 20 years had been plying hook and line at Indian lake, was one of the oldest fishing enthusiasts in this area. Mrs. Morris was an expert needleworker, her eyesight being undimmed by advancing years. She also was fond of gardening, altho her sons persuaded her to abandon this hobby within recent years. Surviving Mrs. Morris are four sons, Jefferson E., Daniel W., Samuel T. and Simon O. Morris, and two daughters, Mrs. Alice Stemen and Mrs. Cora E. Isham, all of Lima. Mrs. Morris' body has been taken from the Davis Miller and Son mortuary to the home. (published in The Lima News, Monday, June 21, 1937, page 2)
