Description	:	Sarah Elizabeth "Babbie" Veronee Haynsworth, of Charleston, South Carolina, the widow of the Right Rev. George Edward Haynsworth, entered into eternal rest September 18, 2013. Babbie was born November 26, 1919, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Alvin Ray Veronee and the late Amelia Schirmer Veronee. She was a graduate of Winthrop University and served in the United States Army Air Corps as a Flight Nurse during WWII. Read More	Sarah Elizabeth "Babbie" Veronee Haynsworth, of Charleston, South Carolina, the widow of the Right Rev. George Edward Haynsworth, entered into eternal rest September 18, 2013. Babbie was born November 26, 1919, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Alvin Ray Veronee and the late Amelia Schirmer Veronee. She was a most wonderful, fun, loving and caring woman, wife, mother and friend to all those around her. Babie will be remembered fondly by many for the great love she shared with children. She is survived by three sons, George E. Haynsworth, Jr., of Johns Island, SC, Richard D. Haynsworth, (Nancy) of James Island, SC and Stephen A. Haynsworth, (Cindy) of Johns Island, SC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Amelia V. Bryan, of Johns Island, SC; three brothers, Alvin R. Veronee, of Johns Island, SC, Marvin Veronee, of Charleston, SC and Randolph Veronee, of Belgium. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by two sons, Johnny Haynsworth and Joseph Haynsworth. Her Funeral Service will be held, September 21, 2013, in St. John's Parish Church, Johns Island, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Church of The Holy Cross Churchyard, Sumter, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, September 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, Charleston, SC.
