She was married to Herbert Woodrow Martin in 1945 and had 5 children (Stuart, Joan, Patricia, Robert & James) she later moved to Greenville, S.C. with her husband "Hub" to help attend to her mother Carrie Grace Morton Thacker, after many years a widow she married James Ingram and she is laid to rest near her late husband James Ingram in S.C.
