Description	:	wife of Mr. Mordecai Marks and daughter of Mr. Mathew and Mrs. Bethiah Hawley aged 23 years [ Sarah Hawley was the 1st wife of Mordecai Marks [Jr] [20740205], with whom she had two daughters: 1) Elizabeth [21338229], 2) Sally Bethia [29198684]. Their married names Elizabeth Shelton and Sally Bethia Clark are named in the will of Mordecai Marks [Jr], which must be reconciled with the rendering given in "THE HAWLEY RECORD", Elias S. This misleading identity swap is clearly refuted by the age and death date inscribed on the gravestone of Sarah Hawley, and by the children's birth dates. (Note: Compounding the confusion is a typographical error in "THE HAWLEY RECORD", p.54. Referring to Mordecai's 2nd wife Sarah _______ [21312017] (maiden name unknown), the text reads "Mr. _______ Marks", while a close examination of the context indicates that the author intended "Mrs. _______ Marks". Apparently her first name was not contributed to the author, despite "Sarah" being clearly inscribed on her gravestone.)
