She was born in Patrick County on June 11, 1914 and was a daughter of the late Hayes and Mary Ann Culler Epperson. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Gray Goins and Hansel Goins; a sister, Marie Jenkins; and a brother, Jesse Epperson. She was a homemaker.
